Basic Life Skills

Teaching basic life skills to youth is crucial for their overall development and future success. Life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and managing money help youth become more self-sufficient and capable of handling daily tasks on their own. Mastering various life skills boosts youth’s confidence and self-esteem, making them more willing to take on new challenges. Understanding basic health and safety practices ensures children can take care of themselves and avoid dangerous situations. Early lessons in budgeting and saving money prepare youth for financial independence and responsible money management in the future. Overall, equipping youth with these essential skills lays a strong foundation for their personal and professional lives, helping them to thrive in various aspects of life.

In addition to teaching the children STEM related subjects, we strive to further teach, develop, and encourage healthy and active lifestyles for the youth. As an additional goal of our organization, we will provide supplemental classes where the children can  learn basic life skills like gardening, cooking, and swimming. Ultimately, each youth that signs up for our program will leave as well rounded individuals.
