Materials

Providing materials for youth is crucial for their overall development, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed academically and personally. Access to educational materials helps youth develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, supports their academic growth, and prepares them for future challenges. It promotes equal opportunities by ensuring that all youth, regardless of their background, have access to the same learning resources, thereby bridging the gap between different socio-economic groups. Well-prepared materials make learning more engaging and interactive, encouraging active participation. Additionally, materials tailored to specific skills help youth develop competencies in areas such as technology, arts, and sciences, preparing them for various career paths and personal interests.

As one of the main staples in our mission, we want to ensure that all of the students can fully partake in all program exercises. To accomplish our goal, all classroom materials are provided by the Reeves Institute. Any additional resources needed are limited to what is available via the local library and internet.

The following are materials that may be used during the construction program. Not all materials will be used on every project and some materials not listed may be required.
